THE STORY

FLOW? - Be water my friend

Water gives rest and relaxation and we could not live without it. Because it is an element of life, there is an attraction to it and water sports connects all of that.

When diving or sailing you are in the elements in three-dimensional space and are at the mercy of nature. You read the wind and waves, navigate, pay attention to sails or are on a new voyage of discovery under water. You forget everything earthly and everyday life around you. Time flies.

This state is called the "flow state" in psychology. The word has a certain level of notoriety right now. The idea and the name of the watches is a. Your FLOW watch reminds you of the time on or in the water and your flow.

I'm from Austria!

My roots are partly in Austria and partly in Germany. The love for Austria and the longing for the mountains and lakes combined with the passion for watchmaking and water results in the Traunsee Taucher watch. A high quality, mechanical watch inspired by Austrian lakes and water sports in a classic and unusual style. Not mass-produced and individually, it reminds you of what makes you happy. In the case of Austria, the Traunsee, diving or simply delighted by their uniqueness.

Clock instinct

I have had a passion for watches, technology and mechanics since I was a child. Very early on I found clocks very fascinating and even took alarm clocks apart to understand the technology.

When I realized that I miss the mountains and lakes because I live far away from Austria, I bought an old regatta watch. It reminded me of the time I spent on the water with my grandfather and father in Austria. And that I am by the water as often as possible. It's basically a reminder of carefree times on the water and it made me happy every time I looked at it. In addition, the representation of the time measurement was technically simple and yet very functional and beautiful. The technology heart also got something out of it :-)

10 years later I was able to get to know some of the best watchmakers of our time. That left a lasting impression on me. Impressions of these encounters can be found in my diary blog timetotems.com. The idea of designing and manufacturing watches arose from these experiences.

All of that is in FLOW watches: desire, aesthetics, quality, the love of watchmaking and my name.
